At Castle Farm Livery & Cross Country LTD we offer tailor made livery packages to suit your needs, from grass livery to full competition livery. Use of floodlit arena, show jumps, cross country course and all year turnout is standard for all liveries, plus excellent hacking in the Gloucestershire countryside.

Facilities include:

  • Floodlit arena approximately 25 X 45 meters and has an excellent sand and rubber chip surface, one of the few arenas usable during the freezing winters. Most other arenas have been frozen solid for weeks, ours is fine, even early in the morning! It provides a well cushioned, yet supportive surface for all disciplines and is regularly maintained. It has 2 large training mirrors which we find invaluable and it’s floodlit, so you can exercise your horse any time of the day or night!
  • Lunge pen with great sand and fibre surface. Suitable for loose work and lunging, is also floodlit
  • Large and medium size stables.
  • Secure tack room
  • Horse wash-down point
  • Cross Country Course with up to 30 fences for each height from 40cm- 90cm , over 1 ¾ miles
  • Hay barn & feed storage
  • Crew room with kitchen and lavatory
  • Lorry & car park
  • Show Jumping Paddock with a course of show jumps including fillers, gate and water tray. They can also be used in the main arena all year round.
  • Coaching and riding tuition available on-site for all levels, including riding lessons, stable management, and groundwork.

Full Livery

7 days per week care AM and PM with experienced staff. Basic daily care with bolt on extras available.

Stable, grazing and use of facilities on a managed yard. Assistance available from experienced staff.

Shared grass paddock grazing 24/7. No access to stable. Use of all facilities onsite. No additional assistance offered.

What’s on offer:

  • 2 X Livery Spaces — Boxes suitable for 15hh and under- 10ftX12FT
  • 2X adjoining pony stables: perfect for one owner with two. Please note: stables are 10 ft × 10 ft, suitable for horses under approx. 14.2hh

Suitability & Conditions:

  • DIY spaces: must be comfortable in herd turnout, must be under approx.
  • Full livery space: suitable for any horse under yard terms.
  • All packages include use of arena, XC course, and turnout.
  • Stable vices must be disclosed up front- will be yard managers decision on acceptance.
  • Minimum of 3 months term contract- will then become a rolling contract
  • 6 weeks of the stable fee to be given upfront as a deposit to secure space, which will be held until termination of livery, and returned based upon factors listed in the contract.
  • Holding fee at a monthly cost can be paid to hold a stable if its more than 1 calendar month before commencement of livery.
