Halloween Fun

Sunday 3rd November was our Halloween showday.
Before getting into the in house classes we hosted an open house spook busting clinic which the horses thoroughly enjoyed and we saw much relaxation in the uncomfortable circumstances with both of the horses we worked with.

Wally a 4yo thoroughbred and his young Rider. Wally was incredibly inquisitive which stood him in good stead for investigating all of the objects we had lined up. Sometimes feeling a little too familiar as seen in the photo.

Claire and Kyro- learning how to walk on unfamiliar surfaces. This horse really surprised us with how settled he became as the empty school itself has been a challenge in the past few weeks. It was a huge commendation to our work to see him having a fab time and enjoying the experience.

Following on with more fun in the afternoon, with fancy dress amongst the showing classes. Remy and Sophie are pictured above- and we loved Remy’s blooded fangs to really finish off his Dracula costume, it’s all in the details!

Spooky Monte Carlo was won by Sophie and Cara and Crossing the Graveyard was tense for a very close finish between games master Sophie who was pipped to the post by Maya and Missy.

Finishing the day with clear round jumping and some fantastic rounds from our horses and ponies. I hope all of our riders enjoyed it as much as I did.
