Castle Farm XC Hunter Trials – A Glorious Day of Sport and Smiles!
What an absolutely brilliant day we had on Saturday for our latest Castle Farm XC Hunter Trials! We couldn’t have asked for better conditions – the weather held beautifully, offering just the right balance of sunshine and breeze, and the ground was perfect for cross country jumping: giving horses the confidence to really enjoy their runs while staying safe and secure underfoot.
From start to finish, the day had an unmistakable buzz. Horses and riders alike were beautifully turned out, and there was an air of excitement and positivity throughout. Whether it was seasoned competitors or first-timers braving the course, the atmosphere was nothing short of electric – friendly, encouraging, and supportive at every turn.
Our wonderful photographers, Happy Hoof Pics, were on hand to capture all the action – and what stunning images they took! From soaring jumps to shared smiles and candid moments between horse and rider, the photos truly reflect the joy of the day.
Red Kite Pizza kept everyone well-fed and happy with their mouth-watering wood-fired creations – a definite highlight for many and the perfect way to refuel after a round (or two!).
The feedback we’ve received has been truly heart-warming – riders commenting on the welcoming atmosphere, the supportive judges and stewards, and the nurturing feel of the whole event. Many noted how the day gave them the confidence to take on new challenges and how enjoyable it was to ride in such a positive environment. Whether tackling small fences or flying over the bigger challenges, smiles were seen all around the course.
A huge thank you goes out to our team of volunteers, judges, stewards, and supporters – your hard work and kindness made all the difference and didn’t go unnoticed.
We are already looking forward to our Halloween Hunter Trials on Friday, 25th October – expect spooky fun, a warm welcome, and another unforgettable day at Castle Farm.
